Like I said, giving up on the titles. It just feels like a barrier, and I make enough of those for myself. Been a busy week at work. Several outages, a lot of calls. Nothing too out of the ordinary, and that's kind of the problem. I looked at my friend Kathy this morning and told her about my last job. I had a co-worker, Beane, and he would occasionally come in, sit down at his desk, give a heavy sigh, and turn to me and say, I don't wanna. And that is how I felt this morning. I just didn't wann...

I am going to have to break the habit of using song lyrics as my titles very quickly or I'll wind up having to do it forever and that's not something I really want to do to myself. Makes the idea of posting in the journal just a tad more daunting. Speaking of. I used to podcast. Used to meaning that it's been a good long while (five-ish years?) and the time gets away from you, but so do the skills. And then, before you know it, so does the drive. Now, I still listen to podcasts. Moreover, I most...

Have you ever over planned something, just waited and waited to do it because you were trying too hard to make it perfect, that it just never happened? That was the first sentence of the first post of my LiveJournal from August 7th, 2000. Just a couple weeks shy of 26 years ago. I am nothing if not consistent. I paid for this a few weeks ago and had every intention of putting... something... on it. I didn't expect perfection. I didn't think, oh yeah, a la Steve Marin in The Jerk, that 'things ar...
